After weeks of non-stop preparation, including weekly book releases, it’s finally here! The Steel & Stone 10th Anniversary Special Edition Hardcover campaign on Kickstarter is now live.
All Steel & Stone universe books will have new ebooks, audiobooks, and paperbacks, but this post is focused on the special hardcover editions. If you haven’t seen them yet, here are all of the new covers and the link to get your very own set.
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Chase the Dark, I wanted these special editions to be awesome. Each book will be in a different faux-leather color, have a unique foil-stamped design, printed edge designs, double-sided dust jackets, and more through stretch goals.
Here are a list of things included with the Special Edition Sets:
- The first book in the Steel & Stone series: Chase the Dark including all-new scenes and POVs
- All three Spell Weaver titles: The Night Realm, The Shadow Weave, The Blood Curse
- Foil-stamped design on faux-leather hardcovers
- Double-sided and embossed dust jackets

- Foiled endpapers with character illustrations

About Kickstarter
If you missed the Red Winter campaign last year, you might be wondering…what the heck is Kickstarter? A lot of information is available on the Kickstarter rewards page, along with guides for first-time backers, but here is a quick summary of what Kickstarter is and how it works:
- Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that gives creative projects the chance to come to life, with minimal risk for both the creator and the supporter. Unlike other ecommerce platforms, Kickstarter is not a store. It is a great way to set up pre-orders for a creative project and for supporters to help make the project even more awesome!
- Once a project hits the funding goal, we all get to party! But the fun doesn’t stop there. Projects will have stretch goals, or goals above the funding goal that, when hit, unlock extra goodies we can add to all pledges. It really is the epitome of “the more, the merrier.” 🙂
- Your payment method is only charged on the campaign’s completion date, November 15.
That’s only a fraction of what Kickstarter is, so don’t worry if it still seems a bit daunting!
